I was so, so, so happy to add this pretty little thing to my collection. I love to make soups and desserts, so I thought this was just what I needed. And it was easy to store in it's cute little base. Love the color.
But it's junk. The immersion blender broke on the first use, with the blade part coming loose from the rest of it's housing. Kinda frightening. The pitcher thing is very flimsy and doesn't really assemble in any way that seems remotely useful. The whisk and frother attachments work ok, but are just dumb. My non-electric models work just as well without the noise.
The unit itself is decently powered, but loud. The product as a whole is deeply disappointing, especially considering it's high reccomendation from Cooks Illustrated.
I've had it more than 30 days, so I don't expect a refund, but neither the vendor nor the manufacturer are getting back to me about replaceing parts.
So, yeah, this thing is a waste of money.
